Welcome into the World Little One

Well, it's true. No form of birth control can withstand mothernature where a Sloss is concerned.

If your parents didn't provide you a diagram on how this works, I'm providing you one now. Apparently the stork is out of date and this is the new process. Good to know now. Well, introducing the newest sloss....somewhere around March 20, 2007. We're very excited to add the newest addition to our fam. It's a new lady!

I can't ever say enough about this place. You'll see us atop Half Dome for my 29th birthday ouch! We hiked 15 miles that day and then climbed the route Snake Dike shown beloy. I think it took us about 5 hours. What a way to celebrate a birthday!
This is the Grack. It's a four star crack system on glacier point apron. It's the site of quite a large and deadly rock slide some years ago but we braved the elements along with about 2 other parties and climbed this route getting caught in a rainstorm. Casey sending slab with rain running down the crack was pretty sick.

I'm seen here celebrating my very own carhart overall's. Thanks darlin.

Austin - Road to Johnson Wedding

Our great friends Heath & Julie Johnson weren't married at the time we embarked on a 13hour one way road trip to Austin. We listened to the book on cd "The old man and the sea". Wow what a listen! Riddle books, mix cd's. It was nonstop entertainment. Mark and Drew drove, this is what Casey did usually :-)

Horseshoe Tournament

We hosted the second annual (first at our house) labor day horseshoe tournament. There was also a wrestle off. John took a 7 punch to the chest (scale of 1 : 10)

Garden

To catch us up from this summer. We had a first attempt at a garden. You can see some of our crops here. Tomato, cantelope, watermelon. Not shown: lettuce, jalapenos, carrots, snap peas and herbs. Also, plenty of weeds. I think we're going to do flowers this year and tomatoes.
