To Tattoo or Not to Tattoo

When you think about the permanence of tattoo's it makes for a good metaphor when compared to marriage doesn't it. Well, that is if you plan on staying married even when it isn't easy. So in the spirit of that, I put my former lady friends name on my arm. Every woman on Casey's mother's side of the family has lucille in their name somewhere and Casey dropped that family name to become Casey Abbott Sloss. (Still CAS, funny) Anyway, sorry Mom!

Honeymoon

Laying in wait of our aeroplane in Nashvegas prior to departure.

Hanging out in San Francisco. The giant heart art says it all I think...
Casey walking along Highway 1 as we head up the coast to camp.
This is a picture of me winning a bet with my new wife. The H20 was freezing but it was worth it!
Hitting up the wineries!
Casey in her own private Bed and Breakfast garden...
One of our most favorite wedding gifts was the honeymoon suite that Warren Harden created for us upon our arrival to the valley, Upper Pines I believe. We are all rendezvousing there again this October for 9 days of climbing adventures with some big sends in mind!
Double slacklining! Crazy until I broke my foot doing the jumpstart...
I can't imagine a honeymoon being more complete than the one we shared

Got Dang 'ole Hitched Man

Well, wouldn't you know that I tricked that woman into settling down! The day itself couldn't have been more perfect. The trees were blossoming, the spring rain held off and instead we had spring sunshine in the evening; even the birds chirped in celebration of my elaborate plan to make this lady mine coming to fruition!

Anyway, it was a great day. Casey looked beautiful and I just tried to sweat as little as possible :-) All of our friends came with the exception of our dear friend Warren who was on a climbing roadtrip. But not to fear, we would see him soon on our yosemite honeymoon.
